Aircraft Exhaust Repair And Modification
Because of our extensive tooling, we can repair or modify virtually any experimental aircraft exhaust.
This is an example of an aircraft exhaust stack that was previously used on a SQ 2000 pusher aircraft that had a Franklin 6 cylinder engine and was converted to a Continental 360 6 cylinder. By using the original as a pattern, the new unit was fabricated for an exact fit to the Continental. Some of the main differences are the two bolt flanges that the Continental uses. Also notice the slip joints incorporated between each cylinder. This aircraft exhaust stack was fabricated from 321 stainless and purge tig welded.
Shown is another customer supplied system that required the entire system with cabin heat muffs to match the original. This provided a complete bolt on solution.
